Maintainers of important active open-source projects can apply for ChatGPT Pro, possible API credits and conditional Codex Security access.

Requirements

  • ✓Public GitHub profile and repository
  • ✓Primary or core maintainer role
  • ✓Evidence of project usage or importance
  • ✓OpenAI organization ID for API-credit consideration

How to claim it

  1. 1Open the official maintainer application.
  2. 2Provide the ChatGPT email, GitHub identity and repository URL.
  3. 3Describe maintenance responsibilities and project importance.
  4. 4If requesting API credit, provide the organization ID and intended workflow.

Terms and notes

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected maintainers receive six months of ChatGPT Pro; API credits and Codex Security access are conditional and not guaranteed for every project.
